From humble beginnings in a tiny hole in the wall 650 sq ft restaurant to a popular growing brand with our own shelf stable bottled signature white sauce available online and in some retail stores with loyal customers all over the country since 2008. Here’s how it all unfolded…
June 28th 2008 we opened, bringing Kati Rolls, Gyro Platters, Biryani Platters & our famous signature White Sauce recipes to New Brunswick. Nearby Rutgers University students and surrounding communities quickly got addicted to our restaurant which happened to be open till 4am from day 1!
In 2016 Nirvanis moved a couple of doors down from the smallest to the largest restaurant on Easton Ave, we quickly expanded our menu and the use of the white sauce got bigger as it paired so well with other dishes. Customers started buying our white sauce to use on other foods!
With alumni’s and old customers visiting from all over and asking, it was time we commercialized it with the growing demand for it to be taken home as it paired with so other many other foods outside of our restaurant menu. This is all done because of the loyal customers motivating us to do it.
